Lyon, France.
The morning opens like a quiet secret, a blue room with a single white line drifting across it.
You arrive expecting something grand -
Paris’s older, quieter cousin, maybe.
But Lyon is elegantly confident in it’s ability to feed you. To slow you down.
To remind you that pleasure doesn’t have to be loud.
The heart wants a ticket, the soul wants a bench with sun on it. Somewhere between those two is a peace that tastes like warm bread and a good idea.
The day feels lighter when the sky says there is room for everything. I carry that promise forward. Not as proof, but as permission.
To keep moving kindly. To pause with gratitude. To let the simple be enough and still feel wonder.
