One morning, I found myself in front of the Van Gogh Museum, bleary-eyed and sun-drunk. Inside, I stood too long in front of the Sunflowers. This flower is tattooed on my arm.
That same golden blaze, etched into my skin long before I ever stood in that gallery.
There was something quietly holy about it. Like catching a glance across the room from someone who sees you, really sees you.
