AI is getting exhausting.
Especially as it's getting real enough to watch something, smile, laugh, cry, and only find out afterwards it was AI generated.
It undercuts the enjoyment and the reason we started watching videos online in the first place.
Back in the 90s there were shows dedicated to sharing home videos on VHS and we all laughed.
In the 2000s we watched YouTube videos of people being silly, creating their own sketches, and low to no budget short films.
In the 2010s we watched people travelling the world and their perspective from the camera in their pocket.
Now we're half way through the 2020s and wondering if what we're watching is real.
So why watch at all?
We're at a stage where real life is better than what we're seeing online. Though, was ever really that way?
