Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland.
The valley slows your pulse before you even know why. A quiet road slips through green like a soft thought, fences keeping the rhythm, houses gathered as if sharing secrets from a long winter.
Snow sits high on the peaks, and low clouds drift like steam from a kitchen you forgot you missed. Cows browse with the confidence of old locals, unbothered by your need to hurry.
The cliffs rise like patient gods, and the air tastes of grass and stone and clean water. You feel hunger for simple things return, a warm room, a bowl of soup, a story told without decoration. You follow the bend because it feels like permission.
Time thins to breath and step and the small music of cowbells. Here you are allowed to be small, which turns out to be freedom, and the quiet looks you in the eye and says stay.
