Iceland.

The rivers snarl and soften, deep blues folding into turquoise as they tumble over dark volcanic steps. You feel small in the best way, like a guest who arrived without a story and was handed one anyway.

The rocks keep their silence while the water does the talking.
It is rough and generous at once, a lesson you can taste on the air. You breathe in the cold and feel the noise inside you find a rhythm.

There is exhilaration here and a kind of peace, a handshake between motion and stillness.

You walk away a little lighter and much more awake, grateful for the places that make you whole.
