Atlas Films (“Atlas Films,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and otherwise process personal information when you access or use Atlas Films, including the Atlas Films website, application, dashboards, APIs, publishing tools, scheduling tools, analytics tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect:

  • when you visit the Atlas Films website;
  • when you create or use an Atlas Films account;
  • when you connect third-party platform accounts to Atlas Films;
  • when you upload, create, publish, schedule, or manage content through Atlas Films;

  • when you contact us or request support; and
  • when we otherwise interact with you in connection with Atlas Films.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of third-party platforms, websites, applications, or services that are not controlled by Atlas Films.

2.1 Information you provide directly

We may collect information you provide to us, including:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your account login details;
  • your company, organization, client, or team name;
  • billing and payment information;
  • support requests and communications;
  • content, captions, media, files, schedules, publishing instructions, metadata, and related data you upload, create, or manage through Atlas Films; and
  • any other information you choose to provide.

2.2 Content and publishing data

When you use Atlas Films to manage or publish content, we may collect and process information such as:

  • text, captions, hashtags, links, descriptions, and post copy;
  • images, videos, audio, files, thumbnails, previews, and media metadata;
  • publishing destinations, connected accounts, channels, pages, profiles, and business assets;
  • scheduled dates, publishing status, queue status, delivery status, failure logs, and publishing history;
  • content variants, drafts, approvals, edits, and workflow information; and
  • analytics, insights, reporting snapshots, and performance data related to published content.

We process this information so Atlas Films can upload, store, prepare, schedule, publish, report on, and manage content at your direction.

2.3 Information from connected third-party platforms

When you connect a third-party platform account, Atlas Films may receive information from that platform based on the permissions you grant and the platform’s APIs.

This may include:

  • account, page, profile, channel, workspace, organization, or business identifiers;
  • usernames, display names, profile images, bios, and account metadata;
  • access tokens, refresh tokens, authorization scopes, expiry times, and related authentication details;
  • content, media, captions, post metadata, publishing status, and delivery status;
  • account-level, page-level, channel-level, and content-level analytics, metrics, and insights;
  • comments, engagement counts, reach, impressions, views, likes, saves, shares, and other platform-supported reporting data;
  • page, channel, business asset, workspace, or organization details; and
  • other information made available through the relevant platform integration.

This may include data from platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other supported services.

2.4 Information collected automatically

When you use Atlas Films, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:

  • IP address;
  • browser type and version;
  • device type and operating system;
  • referral URLs;
  • pages viewed and actions taken within Atlas Films;
  • login activity;
  • timestamps and session data;
  • feature usage and workflow activity;
  • error logs, crash data, queue logs, publishing logs, and diagnostic information; and
  • cookie, analytics, and similar technology data.

2.5 Information from payments and service providers

If you purchase paid services, we may receive payment-related information from our payment processors and service providers, such as billing contact details, subscription status, transaction dates, invoice details, and limited payment metadata.

We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. How We Use Information

We may use personal information for the following purposes:

  • to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve Atlas Films;
  • to create and manage user accounts;
  • to authenticate users and connected accounts;
  • to connect to third-party platforms at your direction;
  • to upload, prepare, process, draft, schedule, publish, and manage content;
  • to transmit content and related publishing data to Third-Party Platforms at your direction;
  • to retrieve, process, display, and report analytics and insights;
  • to display dashboards, calendars, publishing queues, previews, reports, and account information;
  • to personalize dashboards, workflows, and user experience;
  • to communicate with you about your account, updates, notices, support matters, and security events;
  • to process payments, subscriptions, renewals, invoices, and billing administration;
  • to monitor usage, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and maintain security;
  • to troubleshoot, debug, investigate, and resolve technical or publishing issues;
  • to enforce our Terms of Service and other policies;
  • to comply with legal obligations and lawful requests; and
  • to develop, analyze, and improve product features and business operations.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we may rely on one or more of the following:

  • performance of a contract with you;
  • your consent;
  • our legitimate interests, including providing and improving Atlas Films, securing Atlas Films, preventing misuse, supporting users, and operating our business;
  • compliance with legal obligations; and
  • other lawful bases available under applicable law.

5. Third-Party Platform Data and Connected Accounts

Atlas Films processes connected platform data only as needed to provide the Services you request or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

When you connect a third-party platform account:

  • you authorize Atlas Films to access the data and permissions you choose to grant;
  • we may store access credentials, tokens, identifiers, scopes, expiry times, and related metadata needed to maintain the integration;
  • we may use platform data to publish content, retrieve analytics, display dashboards, manage publishing workflows, and support connected account functionality;
  • we may transmit content, captions, media, metadata, publishing instructions, and related data to the relevant platform at your direction; and
  • we may retain platform-related records as reasonably necessary for audit trails, support, reporting, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and operational purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and authority to connect each account, page, profile, business asset, workspace, organization, or channel.

Third-Party Platforms may process your information under their own privacy policies and terms. Atlas Films does not control how Third-Party Platforms process information once it is provided to them.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to:

  • keep users signed in;
  • remember settings and preferences;
  • understand how Atlas Films is used;
  • improve performance and functionality;
  • secure user sessions;
  • prevent fraud and misuse; and
  • analyze traffic and feature usage.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings, although disabling cookies may affect the functionality of Atlas Films.

7. Analytics and Diagnostics

We may use internal tools and third-party analytics, logging, or monitoring providers to better understand usage patterns, feature adoption, service performance, publishing reliability, queue behavior, errors, and system reliability.

8. How We Share Information

We may share personal information in the following circumstances.

8.1 Service providers

We may share information with vendors, contractors, and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, infrastructure, authentication, customer support, analytics, communications, payment processing, file storage, media processing, logging, monitoring, and security services.

8.2 Third-party platforms

When you choose to connect third-party accounts, publish content, schedule content, retrieve analytics, or otherwise use integrations through Atlas Films, information may be transmitted to the relevant Third-Party Platforms at your direction.

This may include account identifiers, access tokens, content, captions, media, metadata, publishing instructions, analytics requests, and related data needed to perform the requested action.

8.3 Business transfers

We may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, insolvency event, or other corporate transaction.

8.4 Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request;
  • enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements;
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of Atlas Films, our users, or others;
  • detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security issues, or technical issues; or
  • respond to emergencies.

8.5 With your direction or consent

We may share information where you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide Atlas Films;
  • maintain account functionality and connected integrations;
  • manage publishing history, audit trails, reporting, and support records;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations;
  • resolve disputes;

  • protect against fraud, abuse, or misuse.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, applicable law, platform requirements, and operational needs.

If you disconnect a third-party account, some related data may remain in backups, logs, analytics snapshots, reports, publishing records, audit trails, or support records for a limited period where reasonably necessary.

If you delete content, disconnect an account, or close your Atlas Films account, we may retain certain information where necessary for legal, security, accounting, backup, dispute resolution, platform compliance, or legitimate business purposes.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

11. International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be stored or processed in jurisdictions other than your own, including where our service providers, infrastructure providers, platform providers, or support providers operate.

  • delete or manage certain content through Atlas Films;

  • revoke platform permissions through the relevant Third-Party Platform;
  • cancel a subscription in accordance with your plan terms; and
  • contact us to make privacy-related requests.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may deny or limit requests where permitted by law.

13. Children’s Privacy

Atlas Films is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to investigate and, where appropriate, delete that information.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Atlas Films may contain links to, embeds from, or integrations with third-party websites, applications, platforms, and services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third party. Your interactions with those third parties are governed by their own terms and policies.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will provide notice by reasonable means, such as posting the updated policy on the Atlas Films website, within the app, through the Services, or by notifying you by email or through your account.

Your continued use of Atlas Films after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy.
