Different people from different parts of the world, all in one city, each with their own story.

New York has a way of compressing distance. Accents, routines, and small rituals share the same sidewalks, and you can feel a whole world moving through a single block. These snaps are a reminder that the city is built from crossings: a glance held for half a second, a conversation that starts on a platform, a quiet moment that happens in full public view.

I keep coming back to how much character lives in the in between spaces. The places we usually treat as transitions, street corners, doorways, crosswalks, become stages. You start to notice how people carry their day. The pace in their steps, the way they hold a bag close, the pause before they turn, the confidence of someone who knows exactly where they are going.
