Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

Lauterbrunnen feels like a place that was built from sound.
You hear it before you fully see it. Water pouring off cliff faces.
The first time I arrived, the valley opened like a corridor.
There is a particular thrill in how quickly Lauterbrunnen changes with a small movement. Walk a few minutes and the view rearranges.
And then there are the falls, the reason many people come. Staubbach is the headline, a white streamer drifting down the cliff with wind tugging at it like fabric. But the valley keeps offering more.
