If you’re taking pictures of Florence on your phone, that’s fine. Do your thing. 

But really, this place deserves film. 

A disposable Kodak will do and a little bit of patience. 

A frame that’s not perfect. 

A blur where it shouldn’t be. 

Maybe even a finger in the corner of the shot from that first day when you didn’t know how to hold the damn thing. 

Leave it in. That finger belongs. 

It’s part of the story.
