Paris

Paris at golden hour, where the Arc de Triomphe lifts its shoulders against the sky and the streets circle like a patient tide.

You arrive as the day begins to soften, when the hard edges of stone and traffic loosen into something almost tender.

The hush after the horns feels earned, like a pause the city grants once you have listened long enough.

Sunlight threads the arch with fire and honey, and every surface catches it differently, as if Paris is showing how many shades of warmth it can hold at once.

In this moment everyone is taller. Posture changes, even in people who were hurrying a second ago. You feel it in yourself too, a subtle straightening, as if the scene invites you to meet it with your full height.

You taste unity like bread still warm. It is simple and immediate, the kind of shared feeling that does not need agreement to exist.
