NYC stills 9
New York.
The city carries its reputation. A concrete jungle built from straight lines, sharp edges, and constant motion.
It's unbelieveable how quickly it can soften. When the fog settles just above the buildings, the whole skyline loosens its grip.
Details blur, distance becomes ambiguous, and the streets feel quieter even when they are still alive.
In that thin band of haze, New York turns into a dream you can walk through. The familiar becomes unfamiliar. The scale feels both immense and intimate. You start noticing the way light lands on glass, the way silhouettes emerge and disappear, the way the city seems to breathe between one moment and the next.
Same streets, same towers, same grid. Then the fog arrives and the city becomes a different place, one that invites you to slow down. Look longer.
