Barcelona
Barcelona wore the storm like a fresh coat of paint, with the air rinsed clean and the streets shining under soft autumn light.
Along the gutters and across the tiled sidewalks, petals and small blooms had gathered in bright clusters, as if the city had quietly decided to decorate itself.
I walked past them slowly, watching color drift between puddles and stone, and felt the day settle into a gentle story that stayed with me long after the clouds moved on.
